About Silver Glen Piper

My name is Andrew Elliott and I started piping at school under the tutelage of Logan Tannock, an award-winning Scottish piper. After school I enlisted with the Scots Guards, carrying out ceremonial duties including Trooping the Colour. In 2004 I attended the esteemed Army School of Piping where I furthered my impeccable standards and knowledge of the bagpipes. The army has given me the opportunity to travel the world and play at some of the world’s premier events. My background ensures I am a talented and highly skilled Scottish piper, able to play traditional highland music for weddings, dinners, dances, Burns’ Suppers and other special occasions.

After spending six years in the army I moved to Australia where I used my talents and expertise to teach piping to amateurs and play with traditional Celtic bands throughout the country. When I returned home in 2011 I knew it was time to put all my piping experience and passion to good use—I created Silver Glen Piper Bagpiper for hire in Clackmannanshire.
